My name is Maverick Lauer, and I have spent most of my life in the construction industry. Growing up, I witnessed the craftsmanship of framers, roofers, and drywallers, while my father built furniture, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for quality workmanship. I have embarked on a journey to establish my own construction company, inspired by the traditional contractor model where one person manages sales, supervision, labor, office tasks, and more.
When you choose a contracting company with a sales team, HR, management, labor, accounting, media, and ownership, you inevitably bear the costs associated with all those layers in your final price. My goal is to eliminate these overheads and offer a more authentic and trustworthy option, where every job matters and the relationships we build are lifelong. I aspire to be the contractor you trust for all your needs, rather than just a one-time fix.
Currently, my team consists of just me, working as a handyman. I offer a diverse range of services and plan to expand, as you can see in my vision page. For now, I would love to earn your trust and serve you as a handyman, with the ambition to grow into your go-to contractor in the future.
I began my journey in my teenage years, working alongside my family in house flipping, where I gained hands-on experience in drywall, framing, electrical work, plumbing, roofing, siding, flooring, fencing, cabinetry, and tile work. This foundational experience set the stage for my career. I then worked for various companies, including a framing company, a roofing company, and a remodeling firm, while also spending years in the insurance industry as an adjuster and inspector. This role honed my troubleshooting and estimating skills. Additionally, I spent several years with a remediation company, managing hurricane and flood damage and navigating insurance claims. Today, I am dedicated to building a construction company that assists homeowners with the challenges they face or the exciting modifications they wish to make to their homes, properties, or commercial investments.
My vision is clear and direct: I am dedicated to offering the most affordable and reliable handyman services available. I want to ensure that everyone has access to high-quality assistance without breaking the bank. Looking ahead, my long-term aspiration is to become a licensed professional in the construction industry.
